Student Services
Our students thrive in our salon-style learning environment. We offer other learning opportunities, including individual coaching, group field trips, career development training, and guest artists.
Curriculum
Our curriculum meets or exceeds Idaho State Board requirements. Our courses include extensive instruction and practical experience in cutting, coloring, perming, retail sales, and professional development. Our curriculum also stresses the following: sanitation, quality customer service, personal appearance and hygiene, personal motivation and development, positive attitude, state laws and regulations, salon administration, and job interviewing skills. Our highly skilled team of Paul Mitchell Learning Leaders will assist you with every aspect of your educational journey.
Licensing Requirements
In order to obtain a license in cosmetology in Idaho, applicants must complete 2000 hours of education.
Additional Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, and have completed two years of high school or its equivalent. Reciprocity granted to licensed applicants who provide official documentation that the requirements for license under which the license was issued are of a standard not lower than Idaho, OR who provide official documentation that they have practiced for at least three (3) years immediately prior to making application. Home salons are allowed. Mobile salons are not allowed. Contact Information:
